I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) dedicated to creating meaningful, lasting change guided by the evidence-based practice of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Throughout my career, I've partnered with individuals, families, educators, and support teams to foster sustainable progress and independence.
My approach looks different from traditional, compliance-driven ABA. My priority is understanding your child as a person first, their communication, their comfort, their own goals, not shaping them to appear “less autistic” or rewarding obedience for its own sake.
Today, my focus is guiding teens and young adults toward greater autonomy, helping someone find their voice, build vocational readiness, or navigate community life on their own terms. I also continue to support younger children on foundational needs, like early communication, when the fit is right. Whatever the age, my goal is the same: to understand what's behind a behavior and translate that insight into practical, everyday solutions.
I believe the most effective support happens when individuals are respected as active participants in their own growth. By building strong relationships, prioritizing assent, and collaborating closely with the people who know them best, we create strategies that truly honor and empower the individual and caregivers.
Context-Based & Naturalistic Mentorship
Structured teaching methods can be a valuable tool for building specific foundational concepts, but my practice focuses on bridging those skills directly into the real world. True independence is ultimately demonstrated where life happens, in the home, at school, and in favorite community spaces. By utilizing naturalistic teaching strategies, I blend behavioral science with collaborative mentorship to help clients generalize their skills into everyday routines that foster a fulfilling, self-determined life.
Real-World Readiness & Belonging
With 15 years of experience across residential, educational, recreational, and vocational settings, I help build the behavioral infrastructure that makes community access possible — thoughtful environmental setups, individualized task analyses, and proactive pacing that let youth and young adults engage in daily life at their own pace and on their own terms.
